Salon Beyrouth

Salon Beyrouth

Oh, Salon Beyrouth…

What can I say? I just love this place!

I don’t know the founders.
I don’t love everything on the menu.
I don’t even go that often.

But still—I just love it.

I can’t explain why this place means so much to me. It’s not like I have one specific, cherished memory tied to it. But I do know that I loved grabbing lunch there with my brother when he worked nearby. I know I love Beirut—its streets, the energy around AUB and Clemenceau, those little corners that were my home for around 6 years of my life.

As a cafe and restaurant, Salon Beyrouth just stands out.

It’s the warm service.
The smiling faces.
The free water refills.
The fresh fruits infusing the water.
The old house coziness.
The sound of rain tapping on the glass, that nylon curtain you pull aside to step in.
The big tree stretching over you as you talk for hours.
The cats casually roaming around.

And most of all—the natural light.

You’re sitting indoors, but it feels like you’re outside, soaking in everything that makes this part of Beirut so special.

I'll definitely be visiting during my next visit to Lebanon : )
